Egy újabb argentin tehetséget mutat be a Stellar Fountain a világnak. Nico Ferrero viszonylag új arcnak mondható, aki kevés háttértámogatással, de annál nagyobb lelkesedéssel teszi a dolgát. Nincs könnyű dolga, hiszen hazája futószalagon termeli a jobbnál-jobb producereket. A 'My Vegetarian Friends' különleges egzotikus dallamvilágával és deep-progressive farvízen evezve tényleg figyelemre méltó darab. A kislemez három remixet tartalmaz, itt vendégeskedik Paul Lennar, Beat Maniacs és Snad is.
Mondanám azt, hogy könnyedén állt össze ez a line up, de ez nem lenne igaz, ráadásul Snad az utolsó pillanatban futott be átiratával, ami emiatt nem szerepelt a vipultima-n futó promó kampányban, illetve az aktuális release-khez készített videóban. Ez azonban ne zavarjon meg senkit, hiszen az amerikai fiatalember verziója is ott lesz az EP-n. Sőt, ha már róla ejtettünk pár szót a munkája mellett se menjünk el némán, hiszen talán pont ő az, aki nem progiban gondolkodott, hanem egy oldskool fűszerezésű, kedvesen groovy deep house verziót kanyarított a hozzávalókból. A kolumbiai Paul Lennar ázsiója manapság megugróban van, nem csoda, hiszen csupa neves kiadónál jelennek meg produkciói. Ő szépen letisztázta az eredetiből átemelt dolgokat, vérbeli főidős prog darabbá téve azt! A szerb Beat Maniacs szekere is beindulóban van, a srácok most sem aprózták el, véleményem szerint a csomag legütősebb 7 perce fűződik a nevükhöz. Már a baseline megér egy misét, de ahogyan a dallamok kibontakoznak az valami hihetetlen!

EP ajánló: WayWork & Cris Xalambri - Black Way

Tovább robog a Stellar Fountain Deep szekere! A múltkori indie dance felé nyitó Dalkloid Sound EP után kicsit visszatérünk a fő csapásirányhoz a deep-hez! Az elkövető nem más, mint Cris Xalambri és WayWork, akikről korábban már volt szó itt a blog hasábjain. Az eredeti darabot 120 BPM-esnek álmodták meg a srácok, később 117-re lassították és itt-ott finomítottak még rajta, ettől a húzástól még epikusabb lett a végeredmény, a deep legjavát kapjuk 7 percbe sűrítve.
A remixerek is már bejáratott nevek ezen a kiadványon. Rögtön elsőnek a kolumbiai Cut Knob tüsténkedik, és megint sikerült egy vérbeli bombát készíteniük. Ezek a srácok a jövő nagy reménységei! Amihez nyúlnak az arannyá válik! Főidőben erősen ajánlott matéria! Azért a szerb Beat Maniacs duó se a hátul kullogók szerepét tölti be, remek progressive átiratuk pont azoknak jöhet jól, akik nem veretni akarnak, hanem okosan, fékezett habzással szórakoztatni. A feedback-ek alapján egyértelműen a CK remix tűnik befutónak, de én nem követném el azt a hibát, hogy csak ezt az egy verziót hallgatom meg ebből az igencsak erős és színvonalas csomagból!

EP ajánló: Beat Maniacs - Parallel

A negyvenötödik Stellar-gyermek egy igazán régóta várt produkció a szerb Beat Maniacs - azaz Petar Bogojevic és Nikola Radivojevic által életre keltett -  duótól. A 'Parallel' mint a jó bor az idővel nemesedett, s most ízhatásának teljében kóstolhatunk bele. Egy kényszerű remixercserét követően ketten - Cj Peeton és Feri - is gyors és mesteri munkát végeztek a címadó tétellel, így ha lehet mondani az eredeti képzelésinket túlszárnyalva állt össze egy egésszé a kislemez anyaga. Egyébként visszatérve a Beat Maniacs-ra, Szerbiában nagy népszerűségnek örvendenek, két alkalommal is pörgettek a belgrádi Sensation bulin, emellett produceri téren is egyre több munkájuk jelenik meg (legutóbb például honfitársuk Jelly For The Babies oldalán remixelték J. Khobb 'Just A Dream'-jét).
Az eredeti track pulzáló FX-szel kezdődik, mint ha valami energiaközpont lépne akcióba. A betársuló dallam és string aztán tovább görgeti a kompozíciót, míg nem a majd 2 perces intró után durran az ablakrengető basszus és a sub. Az energikusság és a dallamosság szépen kiegyenlíti egymást. Cj Peeton break-esre vette a figurát, és bátran mert elrugaszkodni az eredeti texturáktól. A deep-es háttér és a hozzáadott plusz dallamfutamok tovább növelik remixe értékét. Feri is odatette magát, kristálytiszta hangzású, érdekes ritmikájú verziója talán a legsimulékonyabb dj szettek tekintetében a csomagból. Jonatan Ramonda is break alapokon álmodta meg a saját verzióját, mindezt lélekmelengető string és szinti fátyollal bevonva. A kiadványt a melankolikus 'Far Away' zárja, ami a feed-eket elnézve egyszerű, de nagyszerű felépítése miatt tarol a dj-k körében. Szettekbe a felvezető fázisban csodákat tud tenni!
